More details

The Lumberlok Zinc Bottom Plate Fixing Anchor is designed to fix timber wall frames down onto concrete slab floors. To install, the Bottom Plate Anchors are temporarily fixed to the perimeter boxing (at 900mm centres max) prior to the concrete pour, and is left undisturbed until the concrete has set ready for the timber frames to be installed. When the timber framing is in place the fixing anchors are folded up and over the bottom plate. Fixings are driven into the side of the bottom plate and through each of the lugs. Finally a concrete nail should be installed next to each fixing anchor, through the bottom plate into the concrete. This anchor is made from zinc which gives it corrosion resistance.

Main Feature: Fixing timber wall frames into concrete.

  • Saves hand trowelling around cast-in anchor bolts or rods
  • Eliminates the drilling of bottom plates
  • Makes the fixing of timber framework easier and quicker
